Here is the complete rules regarding Player of the month and manager of the month
MOM - Manager Of The Month
MOM voting will take place after every set of 6 games. The period between voting is not monthly as the title suggests, but every 6 games, regardless of the actual time surpassed. I have chosen this time frame as the FORM table takes into account the last 6 games, and resets after every 6 games.
Every manager must vote for Manager of the month. Failure to vote for MOM will result in a fine and the inability to win the award, should they receive the most votes. So for e'g
If Chelsea get 8 Votes
Man Utd get 7 votes
Chelsea never voted and Man Utd did, Man Utd would win the award.
You cannot vote for yourself and strategic voting is not illegal, although frowned upon. I would like to advise everybody of an instance where strategic voting took place. The league I am apart of had the top 3 managers for that month on roughly the same form, those 3 managers voted for the bottom of the table as they did not want to vote for each other in case they got more votes than them. The team who were bottom, received more votes than anybody else because of this and actually won the vote!
MOM is usually based on FORM over the last 6 games, although different managers take different things into account. Like improvement from the previous month, transfer in and out, clean sheets, high scoring games etc.
The award for MOM is as follows.
£3,000,000 added to the teams currency.
1000 abs to be divided to the teams players following these rules.
No more than 500 abs per player, abs can be distributed to any outfield stat (ST, TK, PS, SH)
POM - Player Of the Month
POM voting will take place after every set of 6 games. The period between voting is not monthly as the title suggests, but every 6 games, regardless of the actual time surpassed. I have chosen this time frame as this ties in with MOM voting.
Every manager must vote for Player of the month. Failure to vote for POM will result in a fine and the inability to win the award, should they receive the most votes. So for e'g
If D_Drogba receives 8 votes
W_Rooney receives 7 votes
Chelsea never voted and Man Utd did, Man Utd would win the award.
You cannot vote for one of your own players and strategic voting is not illegal, although frowned upon.
POM is usually based on performances in the last month, goals scored, clean sheets, tackles or passes/assists made although different managers take different things into account.
The award for POM is as follows.
1000 abs to be awarded to any of the outfield players stats.
1 weeks intensive physio treatment, should the player be injured. This can be kept until used and does not run out, although can only be used once. For E.G
If a player is injured during a game, and is injured for one week, the manager can send him to an intensives phsio session and remove that 1 week injury.
If a player is injured for 2 weeks (and up) he can send him to intensive physio to remove 1 WEEK from his time out.
Any questions about any of the above, you know how to get hold of me
